A preview that represents the entire collection of the Giovanni Fabbri Museum, consisting mainly of machinery for processing wheat, producing pasta and other ethnographic objects dating back to the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.

Our library is open to anyone interested in examining these rare texts. The volumes are classified according to topic and period: the pasta-making industry and vintage machinery, scientific literature on wheat, a wide range of cookbooks and many other interesting items!

More than 150 archive items available to university students, professors and enthusiasts

The collection includes various documents, such as:

  • The notarial documents describing the history of the construction of the Pastificio since 1893 (founding deeds, purchase and sale, etc., ancient insurance contracts…);
  • The old invoices of the Pastificio, including the oldest dating back to 1906;
  • Documents concerning personnel management since the beginning of the 20th century (e.g.: register with all the details of the employees in 1933);
  • Various documents on the history of the country and Italian wheat: (for example, a rare collection of original “Propaganda Sheets” for the Battle for Grain).
